The former Maryland Commit hails from Tampa, Florida and held offers from schools like Michigan and Alabama. After decommitting from Maryland in November, Brown visited Minnesota, Iowa State, and Georgia Tech before eventually signing with Tech.
Brown is a 5’10, 165 pound receiver so is not your traditional big wide receiver at Georgia Tech but looks to be the type of receiver Collins wants at Georgia Tech. That doesn’t hold him back from making plays like in the video below. Brown finished his senior season with 36 catches for 622 yards and 7 touchdowns. Brown is tied for the 3rd highest recruit this year along with other receiver Kalani Norris.
Brown runs track and it’s evident in his style of play. He is a deep ball threat, runs routes well, and excels after the catch. With the current status of Georgia Tech’s wide receivers, it’s very possible Brown starts right away.
